Application of Gold Label Cassette In The Field of Quality Control of Animal Derived Foods
Gold labeled cartridge colloidal gold immunochromatography has been widely used in biomedicine, and its application in the detection of animal derived foods has only developed recently. Domestic research is mainly focused on the field of IVD&POCT.
Colloidal gold immunochromatography is particularly suitable for component analysis that does not require quantitative testing but requires rapid results.
The IgG content of bovine colostrum has become a good indicator for evaluating the biological activity of bovine colostrum and its products. The standard bovine IgG labeled with colloidal gold on a gold labeled card was used as a competitive antigen, which was coated on the binding pad of the test strip. The self-made rabbit anti bovine IgG antibody was immobilized in the detection area of the nitrocellulose membrane. The level of IgG in milk samples is reflected by the competition between the IgG in the milk sample and the colloidal gold labeled standard bovine IgG for binding to the binding site of the IgG antibody. This procedure requires a short time, allows for simple semi quantitative analysis, and has good specificity.
