Prospects And Research Directions of GICA Technology for Gold Label Cassette
The advantages of gold label cassette GICA technology, such as low production cost, simple operation, wide detection range, and good performance, have made it a hot spot for application and research in various fields. The related research continues to deepen, and the detection range continues to expand. Domestic and foreign scholars have been conducting research on the detection of animal diseases using GICA technology, making it possible for grassroots veterinarians to quickly diagnose animal diseases using a reliable technical means. However, due to the shortcomings of GICA technology, the following aspects need to be strengthened in the future.
1. Quantitative testing Currently, most of the gold label cassette GICA test strips used in production are used for qualitative testing, while semi quantitative testing is only a few. The results are mainly determined by visual observation of color changes and preliminary testing. However, quantitative testing can bring a lot of help to the diagnosis of diseases, so strengthening the research on quantitative GICA test strips is an important direction in the future, with great significance.
2. Improving sensitivity GICA technology also has problems with low detection specificity and sensitivity, as well as high false positive and false negative rates. The diagnosis of terminal diseases also requires other diagnostic methods and means, resulting in prolonged diagnostic time and increased costs, which has brought great difficulties in practical production applications. Therefore, improving the sensitivity of GICA strips is also the focus of future research.
3. Most of the gold standard cartridge GICA test strips currently used in production can only detect one sample, mainly for one disease. This can lead to repeated sampling and testing, while prolonging the time for disease diagnosis and increasing testing costs. Research on GICA test strips that can be applied to various diseases is also an important development direction in the future.
